AMBSO is currently collaborating with East Tennessee State University in the United States, spearheaded by Dr. Violet Nkwanzi. The current partnership focuses on a human trafficking study protocol aimed at understanding the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on human trafficking vulnerability and the long-term mental health outcomes of survivors. The study also seeks to explore the role of social support networks among women survivors of human trafficking in Uganda. This collaboration underscores AMBSO’s commitment to addressing complex social issues through rigorous research and international cooperation.
