Community Engagement Intervention

Community Engagement Interventions form key strategic activities done by AMBSO to build community trust, foster collaborations, create platforms for discussion between AMBSO and community stakeholders in all matters relating to its activities.

AMBSO priotizes Community engagement interventions in all the communities where we operate.

Goal: To ensure research is relevant, acceptable, and beneficial to the community

Objectives: Build trust and credibility, enhance community understanding of research, foster collaboration and partnerships, improve research relevance and validity, increase community participation and retention, promote research translation and implementation, and empower communities to take ownership of health initiatives.

Community Engagement Interventions: Stakeholder engagements (National, district and local), Community outreach, Community Advisory Board (CAB), Dissemination and feedback meetings, Capacity building and training and community sensitization and education.
