Alcohol and Mental Health Disorders

The study is aimed at adapting an evidence-based psychosocial intervention that can be scaled to address alcohol use disorders and mental health needs of young adults living with HIV aged 18-29 years.

Study Summary: The study is aimed at adapting an evidence-based psychosocial intervention that can be scaled to address alcohol use disorders and mental health needs of young adults living with HIV aged 18-29 years. This study is designed to help us understand how to better support individuals Living with HIV in reducing alcohol use and improving mental well-being in Wakiso District. Africa Medical and Behavioral Sciences Organization is partnering with Boston College School of Social Work to implement this study.

Study period: This is a one-year study
