Health in Everyday Life among people with neurological Disorders (HELD)
The HELD research group at Karolinska Institutet focuses on improving the everyday lives of people with neurological disorders, such as stroke or spinal cord injury. Led by Prof. Susanne Guidetti, the group aims to develop and implement interventions that enhance participation and health in daily activities for both patients and their families.
Their research includes developing new interventions, evaluating their effectiveness, and working closely with healthcare professionals to integrate these findings into clinical practice. Africa Medical and Behavioral Sciences Organization (AMBSO) is one of the several other research entities that they are currently collaborating with.
