Deusdedit Kiwanuka

Deusdedit Kiwanuka is a co-founder and esteemed board member of  Africa Medical and Behavioral Sciences Organization (AMBSO). With over 15 years of experience in public health and behavioral sciences, he has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s strategic direction. His expertise in designing and managing programs for survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) has significantly advanced AMBSO’s mission. Leveraging his extensive experience, Mr. Kiwanuka supported the initiation of the GBV program at AMBSO, providing crucial training and skilling of the Program officers. Additionally, as a mentor in organizational management and leadership, he imparts invaluable knowledge and skills, nurturing the new generation of AMBSO leadership.
Mr. Kiwanuka is one of the Investigators at AMBSO and is in charge of designing Psycho-social support programmes and GBV response programmes for Research participants who might experience such untoward experiences during the lifespan of the trials.
