Dr. Joseph Kagaayi
BOARD MEMBER
He is a co-founder and board member of Africa Medical and Behavioral Sciences Organization (AMBSO). With over 20 years of experience in epidemiological research, he has significantly contributed to the organization’s strategic direction to foster research excellence. Dr. Kagaayi holds a PhD from Case Western Reserve University, a MPH from Johns Hopkins University, and a medical degree from Makerere University. His extensive research work, published in leading journals, underscores his commitment to advancing public health. At AMBSO, he also supports the establishment of research training experiences for Master’s and PhD students, fostering the next generation of public health leaders.
At AMBSO he gives expert support focused on mentoring Junior Investigators in scientific writing and publication as well as ensuring proper implementation of AMBSO’s Population Cohort studies.
