Dr. Fred Nalugoda

Dr. Fred Nalugoda is an epidemiologist and a founding member of Africa Medical and Behavioral Sciences Organization (AMBSO). He holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Makerere University and a Master of Health Science (MHSc) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Nalugoda was instrumental in establishing AMBSO’s Population Health Surveillance (APHS) program, which plays a crucial role in monitoring and improving community health outcomes. At AMBSO, he also provides technical support and oversight to the organization’s data processes and applications, ensuring the highest standards of research integrity and impact.
Dr. Fred Nalugoda provides procedural oversight for the clinical research studies that AMBSO has been conducting over the years and gives expert guidance to set up data systems and applications for AMBSO studies.
