AMBSO provides Community Services in the following thematic areas
Voluntary Safe Male Circumcision
Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) is on of the proven HIV prevention packages. AMBSO is proud to be one of the providers of these services in the communities.
Gender-based Violence
AMBSO established a Gender Based Violence (GBV) prevention and response program in March 2018 as one the services that the organization offers to the communities.
Illicit Drug Rehabilitation Unit
AMBSO has a well-established community structure that supports interventional approaches that respond to alcohol and illicit drug use and address dangers associated with use. The scope of activities fall into three main interventions that include prevention, advocacy and rehabilitation.
Health Education
After every round, communities are provided with updates on pressing health issues/concerns that need attention. Health education sessions are conducted by AMBSO trained teams with support of stakeholders in the study communities to create awareness and deliver key messages to address the health concerns.
